At JA of Mobile, we host several events throughout the year to raise money to support our programming. These events also engage the community in our efforts to reach students! Whether you'd like to get involved on an individual level or as a business through event sponsorship, we offer several ways for you to support our work while having a great time!

When: Saturday, August 12, 2023The Bowling Classic provides a valuable team building activity! Coworkers enjoy bowling and having fun with their friends and colleagues while raising money for JA. Bowlers reach out to family, friends, coworkers and others to solicit donations on behalf of JA.

When: Friday, August 11, 2023The impact of Junior Achievement programs is priceless, and lives are changes in every classroom. Junior Achievement volunteers teach kids about money management and how business works. Students get hands-on experience to help prepare them to compete in an increasingly competitive global workforce. As a result, they are more likely to have a positive outlook for the future, more likely to believe they will graduate from high school and college and more likely to explore entrepreneurship.

Junior Achievement Bowling Classic
When: Wednesday, August 18, 2021 - Friday, August 20, 2021The Junior Achievement Bowling Classic is an event in which local companies and organizations get together and bowl to help support Junior Achievement programs in area schools. Bowlers raise money and earn prizes. Excellence in bowling is not needed, enthusiasm is!

2021 Junior Achievement Business Plan Challenge
When: Thursday, April 29, 2021The JA Business Plan Challenge is an opportunity that allows young people to demonstrate their understanding of business fundamentals, the importance of creatively marketing to a target audience, and the power of persuading potential investors during a live pitch. The competition is open to high school students who will ultimately pitch their business plan to a panel of judges Shark Tank style.
